Welcome to Luke Anthony's 2000 Fun Times
The year 2000 started with a great, fun snowstorm,
(Daddy,  Mommy and Me)
...with the kind of snow you could wallow in,
(Me)
...and the kind of cold needing warm friends.
Springtime brought the need to get outside and complete construction tasks,
There was always  some dirt to move,
...and compaction to complete,
(Papa and me)
...and earth to move with my Mom.
(Me and Mom)
But sometimes Papa made mistakes, like when his car was locked into the sewage treatment plant.
(Signs and fence Papa ignored.)
Summertime brought fun times,
(Cruising with my cousin Logan.
Summertime brought us to Brant Lake and my favorite rocks,
(Great Adirondack Granite Rocks.)
...and popsicles in the Kitchen with my cousins.
(Ryan, Me and Ashley.)
Summer brought my Brithday Party and presents,
(Aunt Lisa, Uncle Steve, my telescope and my unifom.)
August heat brought firetrucks to Aunt Mary and Uncle John's propane tanks.
(Me, Mom and Fireman Friend.)
September was fun with Aunt Joanne and Uncle Vinnie's Wedding.
(Aunt JoAnne and Me.)
In September we also visited the U.S. Capital Building,
(Mommy, Daddy and me on Capital Steps.)
...then had the run of the place.
(Me running toward Senate chamber, Cousin Logan running everywhere during our after hours private tour.)
In October we settled down to finding treasure,
(Helping my dad find treasure in the dirt.)
...and showing everyone our finds.
(Grandma Pat, Me, Mommy and Daddy still hunting.)
Then it was Christmas.  What joy!  Papa says it's not the presents, it's the presence.
Thanks for visiting,
