In January I joined my brother in the Chesapeake Bay Charity Polar Bear Plunge.
Cold February winters are made warmer by my cats Stanley and Oliver.
But even in late March in South Carolina the ocean and air is warm.

At Brant Lake in August the bass were again biting, and
the Adirondack Monarch butterflies began their migration south.

In November we explored a strange, dried up stream bed now piled with rocks.
In December Papa took us to a farmer's tomato field in Crofton, Maryland where he collected Indian artifacts for many years. The farmer let it go fallow and now it's a forest of young trees.
Near Annapolis my cousin Harrison and I explored an old army tank.
The year ended with a wimpy snow storm, hardly enough to build
